1.00.06 install weirdness?

It's possible that I am confused.

Beta Patch Links leads me to believe that 1.00.06 is the current beta.

but when downloaded and installed the splash screen indicates 1.00.05.

Am I missing something?

The launcher shows 5. The start screen of the game itself show 6. All is well, this is normal. Version 6 is beta and only shows correctly in the actual game.

Great news, I wish to start a new game as Allied, but not till the next official patch.
