Does AI know how to use paratroopers?

Anybody ever see the AI use them in an actual para drop?

They do as the Allies. As the Axis not really. Very hard to use Paratroopers effectively.

Why the difference between the Axis and Allies use of paratroopers?

Para's are very weak once they drop and it is difficult to program and A.I. to correctly paradrop into a location.

In the many games I played as the Axis I rarely drop the paratrooper. Maybe to take an island with a port.

As the Allies I do it more often.

None that I have saved and can post, sorry. There were 2 instances in my prior game where they landed in unoccupied cities during invasions and hindered greatly my response to the invasions (now the invasion beachheads proper were easy to contain and defeat....)
