Was just watching a combat replay in one of my UV PBEMs, and it dawned on me that the ship sightings/coastwatcher sighting phase doesn't seem to have any particular order, save for IJN then USN (or vice versa - I forget).

This is fine when the screen showed 1/3 of the map, but in WITP there will be this mammoth map - and numerous TF sightings all over the place won't mean anything to me - I'll see one and not remember the significance of it until they're invading NZ (the usual IJN gambit).

So I was hoping maybe one of the alphas or betas could tell me:
Will there be a particular "map" order for the combat replay or will it just be "chronological".

I think it should be chronological for any battle phases, but for the sightings at the start of the air ops phase and coast watcher sightings it would be REALLY helpful if say, the sightings were reported from the top of the map down to the bottom for example, or in some other discernable pattern to save me from wondering "where the hell is that on the map??!! . . . too late, its gone" sort of thing.

Right now everything is chronological. I will keep you suggestion in mind when we get further into testing.
