Editing Existing units in the Editor

I am trying to change some of the ground units in the editor, but I do not really know how to do it. I open up the editor, and we are supposed to be able to click on the units on the map and change them in the editor. Unfortunately, the units do not show up on the map in the editor. Any idea what I am doing wrong? Thanks.

there are toggles on the top. One says "U" for units. To show or not show them. Try each of the toggles.
