How to select coverage arc, new mount

Post by tabasco_joe »

I'm trying to add a new weapon mount on a ship. When I attempt to add the new mount I get a box which says I need to select a coverage arc for the mount. How are coverage arcs selected for a new mount?

Look at the menu on the pic. In the pic this would be an example of 180 degree weapon coverage at the bow, nose or front of a ship, boat etc.

Thanks. I've seen that icon a hundred times but didn't realize what it was for. Nothing came up in searches in manual, online forums, or other internet sources. Maybe now it will for the next newbie.

E-Manual Page 274 para 2. Word search in document for "arc".
2. Use the ARCS checkbox diagram to select the sensors detection
and tracking/illumination arcs. If you’d like 360 coverage
check them all off.
