Staff Alerts Screen/Page

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

Staff Alerts Screen/Page

Post by Deathtreader »

Hi,

I've noticed in/on the staff alerts page that right below the counter image for each unit entry is the word "Level" followed by a 3 digit number. Out of curiosity -- what does this mean??

Rob.
So we're at war with the Russkies eh?? I suppose we really ought to invade or something. (Lonnnng pause while studying the map)
Hmmmm... big place ain't it??

Rob,

My best guess reviewing the code is a debug value we were using to see if the worst units were at the top of the list. Some kind of quick math rollup for all of the soft factors for the unit. We probably needed to be removed when we went to commercial build, but we missed it. Our Rob will look tomorrow and hopefully match or correct my assessment. So the answer is, not much. [:D]
OTS is looking forward to Southern Storm getting released!
