AI question

The scenario description is a little grammatically fuzzy as to the recommended side to play against the AI. Which side does it recommend I play? What are people's experience against the AI? (I'm going to play a mostly historical game, not using exploits or min/maxing. Just looking for an interesting game vs. the AI).

You can play both sides. I do not think there is a recommended one.

Usually, I am beefing up AI with the following:
Computer Bonus Experience: Veteran
Computer Bonus Effectiveness: Optimal

If you are new to the game and learning it, I would recommend an Allies AI to play against you.

A.I. isn't as good with the Axis as they are with the Allies. I think the Axis are harder to play in general.
