Multiplay issue

I'm having trouble connecting in multiplayer with a friend. The host had forwarded the port 1945 and we have been unable to connect via tcp. GameRanger wont recognise that the game is installed. Help?

Can't help with Gameranger, but if the host has opened their port, are they sure they have done it correctly? Could a firewall on your end be preventing the outgoing connection from your (client) machine?
