lets call it as we see it

Post by fuselex »

a developer who gets crook , I do believe he did
a developer who then logs in constantly without commenting , not what peter originally did , his passion was never in doubt ,
communication was his main focus , but it has now disappeared ,
paullus now admits peter is following the forums with no communication to the community .
somebody is trying to keep the sales going , with no cost to them ,

and please correct me , and not you paullus speaking for peter , because it has been a while since he has

[:(] Fuselex, I feel a lot of bitterness on your part ...

This is not a reproach, however.

I don't know the full story and have only been here for a short while, but looking on the bright side of life I think Peter created a great game and if he can, he will be back to do more. Let's hope so [;)] and from me big thanks to Peter . Understand if you shoot me down in flames [:)]

On the contrary, TimB64! Really quite the contrary ... [;)]

Not only do I share the same feelings as you towards Peter and his magnificent (and surely still perfectible) creation,

but instead of "shooting you in flames", I offer you a journey to the destination you want (back and forth) "in my own personal DC-3"! [;)] [;)] [;)]

Tim, You're welcome to the (small? but global!) TotH community ...

You will see that here, there are "sacred grunts" like [&o] Rico21, UP844, Hailstone , fuselex, Big Ivan and a lot more!

Which are worth the detour! Very good fun to You!

Protect yourself well and stay safe, You and Your loved ones.

I think you are excessively overreacting and your personal attacks are not warranted.

Sometimes life just happens, my understanding is that Peter got ill or had cancer and your calling him a crook for not putting out a patch in 1, 3, 10 years? Its a FREAKING game man!

As they say "Lighten up Francis".

Zovs got it right, when he said, "Lighten up..." I too am disappointed
but I figure we're lucky to have what we have. It's been my wish for a
long time to get back to ASL but I've given up that wish if not for
TotH. If anyone finds the game as is to be too frustrating then move on.
Don't hold your breath for any TOTH enhancements which will not come.
I, for one, will continue to port scenarios over to TotH until I'm told
my scenario's suck and to stop.[&:]

Fuselex, I also think you are overreacting. Badly.

We all know this game is essentially a one-man-show. A very fine man, I add: I'm glad to have made his acquaintance, as I rarely met an author so willing to exchange opinions with the users of his game.

As far as I can tell, ToTH is a labor of love, not a source of income, and everything Peter posted only confirmed my opinion.

If Peter does not feel posting on the forum, he is absolutely right in doing so. Perhaps he does not fell well enough to deal with this bunch of fanatic ASL players (me included) who would like to see any kind of features, from Chinese guerrilla to Arctic terrain.

The only thing I wish for him is a full recovery.

Excellent choice, Rico! It is the most spacious, welcoming and safest model we have ever seen! [:D] [:)]

But it will [:-] not be easy to "make" a second one if ever those Great Eunuchs of Heart and Brain who pretend to rule the World in our name ...

MY LITTLE BLUE & GREEN PLANET !!! ... reserve for Her the fate of a lemon:

>> to extirpate to the last oozing of oil, the last anthracite pebble and the last drop of fresh water ...

and to burn to the very last tree , to shoot down the very last wild animal

to submit to their greedy and insatiable appetite or arrogance the poor human lives that they have always ignored,

despised and slaughtered like lambs and slaves ...

Come and See ... "Koyaanisqatsi" (a 1983 US experimental movie) ; it's not too late.

Perhaps. [&:]

There is unrest in the forest
There is trouble with the trees
For the maples want more sunlight
And the oaks ignore their pleas

The trouble with the maples
And they're quite convinced they're right
They say the oaks are just too lofty
And they grab up all the light

But the oaks can't help their feelings
If they like the way they're made
And they wonder why the maples
Can't be happy in their shade?

There is trouble in the forest
And the creatures all have fled
As the maples scream, "oppression"
And the oaks just shake their heads

So the maples formed a union
And demanded equal rights
"The oaks are just too greedy
We will make them give us light"

Now there's no more oak oppression
For they passed a noble law
And the trees are all kept equal
By hatchet
Axe
And saw
