Can you give a little more detail on replacements? Are they a 1:1 strength point replacement? How do I know I'm producing enough of them? Can you produce extras or are they all expended i the turn they are created? Is there a delay in their appearance? For example, if I bump the level up on turn 1, do I get those on turn 1? Or on turn 2 or 5? Thanks.

Now that I notice page 57 repairs will be moved to page 31

But simply put

Repairing and Upgrading Units—Units are automatically repaired and upgraded if they are in main supply or port supply and received supply stockpile. Units that have basic supply due to a lack of supply stockpile do not get reinforcements. Units will automatically upgrade their advancement levels as time passes. The closer a player is to the maximum logistics, the slower the units will automatically upgrade. A player may also turn off automatic repair/upgrade when the unit is selected. A unit will repair 20% of its full strength each turn if possible. Repairs and upgrades happen before the turn starts.

I believe part of his question was the scale of it. Let's say for example that an infantry corps is at 27/30 strength. How many points of manpower assigned to reinforcement does it take to bring that back to full strength?

You have to decouple the cost in manpower from the cost in production.
