How About A Little Less Micro Management

It would be nice if some of the micro management in this game were reduced. For example having to change the mode of CV to naval tactical before moving when an enemy naval target is spotted. I forget this all the time. Or changing HQ mode to auto assist. Or changing the mode of a surface naval unit to raider. Considering that a turn represents about 2 weeks you'd think a CV could change their mode after it moves. Although the game is strategic level, almost every action is unit by unit so a tactical level.

I forget to change my CV as well. Would a do over work? Just for the attack but not for the move.

In reality, unless you were the idiot captain of the HMS Glorious, your staff would inform you if you were about to do something stupid, like order an attack on naval unit with ground attack ordnance.

Or how about this, The AI(your staff) sees that you are planning an attack on naval units so it makes the suggestion that you change modes then allow players an opportunity to change.

I used to forget to change my CV attack mode, too, but through bitter experience I learned to check it before moving or making an attack. I don't think the current system needs to change.

I dont think that having to change CV mode works with the scale of this game?
