Help with 'Error: Resource not found: c'

Today, one of the factions I created in a modified DB started giving me this error any time I try to use it. When the game is loading and about to let me place units before a new battle, this error message appears about 'Resource not found: c' I think had this error message before, but I cannot remember how I fixed it now.

Does anyone know what causes this, and how I can fix it? I appreciate any help with this.

Your database is trying to use a resource that has the name 'c' and it's not found in the .xml files. One way to locate the line where the name is used is to search the database .xml files for "c" (the quotation marks included). This cannot be done in the game editor, but for example in a text editor or Windows search.

Thank you very much Veitikka , I found the problem using the search technique you taught me, and I think that will be very useful in the future. Turns out the error was not at all what I thought, but instead I accidentally changed a unit's NATO sprite icon from 'hostile_at' to 'c'.

In case anyone else reads this post, another thing I found is that you cannot make updates to the database while you have the .xml file open; obvious after I thought about what I was doing but it took me a minute to realize what I was doing.
