European Theatre divisional game or Russian front division type game not fire the east 2 it's too big, but any of the other scenarios one of the better ones not looking for a very experienced player just a mediocre player please tigercub

Hiya,

I'm not a complete novice but I've only ever played the AI, or 'hot seat' games and never dabbled in PBEM, but if you're willing to put up with my bumbling about - while I learn what the hell is happening! - I'm willing to give it a a go.

I agree with you about the Russian Front games generally being too large and too long but I'm happy to try any of the any of the ETO games from either side. I quite like the "Bridge too Far' scenario in the "Custom Graphics" folder if that appeals to you but I'm content to try my hand at any thing might fancy.

I'm playing on the benighted v4.1.0.04 - it took a while to get it up and running because the download and patch was crook.

Tigercub, you have also some great scenarios designed by Brian Topp, much lower number of units than those above. He designed Operation Barbarossa, Operation Blau, Operation Zitadelle (1943 whole Easten Front at divisional level), and Operation Bagration (1944). Fire in The East is great scenario but it takes too much time to do turn properly.

Looking at that just last night....was thinking of giving it a go as Sovs as it is the Soviet PO/PBEM version of D21 I believe.
Anyway, I'm willing to give it ago as PBEM......pick a side.

If this request is still open in that case i could join if you agree. I never played PBEM ( i want to lose my PBEM virginity)but i have a whole bunch of hours in TOAW against elmer. I prefer divisional level too so if you pick a scenario which is divisional level im happily join.
