Is there a reason a Division can merge with a small Corps (i.e. pick the division, hold down alt and hover over the small Corps), but a small Corps can't merge with the same division (i.e. pick the same small Corps, hold down alt, hover over the same division and you do not get the merge option)?

It was done for simplicity. Any other way would create a lot of problems.

Interesting. Don't know if it is already, but probably should be in the manual, just for clarity.
