Corrupted Save Game File

Playing 1.00.06 with no beta updates.

Noticed while playing that the group of 5 buttons on the top right (including 'end turn', 'save game', 'quit' buttons) were grayed out during my turn. I was able to save the game at its current state, and I then quit the game and reloaded. Game started to load, but it endlessly recycles between 'loading data' and 'generating game'. I have to use windows task manager to end the game.

My previous save game turns load fine, so it is only the one save game that is corrupted. Perhaps you can determine where the problem lies based on the group of buttons becoming grayed out? I do have the saved game file if you need it.
