Possible exploit...

Post by devoncop »

Hi

I mention this as the game will have MP.

I watched a You Tube playthrough and the player started the game and instantly sacked the Secretary to get a new one and mentioned as the game replaces the Secretary for free it avoids the PP cost of recruiting new leaders and the old Secretaries are added to your leader pool for nothing if you promise them another job. It was evident this was a tactical exploit that could be used every turn or so to get a continuous supply of new free leaders.

I would not do this as it is distinctly cheesy but it may be worth looking at.

That's not quite right. The Secretary isn't replaced with a new leader, it's taken from your existing leader pool and removes them from the position they were in without asking you. So it's usually a big problem to change them, you don't want to do it unless it's absolutely necessary.

Many thanks for the clarification.

In fact that ain't completely true. A reserve pool member is taken. But if no reserve pool member is present a low capacity level leader will be recruited immediately to take the position.

However in the last patch I increased the PP cost quite a lot for replacing your Secretary. It shouldn't be an exploit any longer.

No need for an apology Ben....you have taught me more about the game in the last few weeks in your Explorminate You Tube series than I would have believed possible !
