Purchase Units Screen Question

Post by Johnpilot »

I am going through the manual and playing to get a feel for things. On the Purchase Units screen, in the middle at the top there is the icon of the unit. Under it is the cost in MPP. There are two values, one in brackets. As an example for German tanks the line says:

Cost = 250[237] MPP

Q: What is the number in brackets for?

I cannot find it in the manual. Thanks.

The bracket number is your MPP discount if you have researched Production Technology.

Mind however that any upgrades will make the unit MORE expensive.

A * means it was shattered in the previous turn, can be bought for ~half price and half the build time.

And to add even more, some of the players setup with soft builds, so once you go over the top of allowable, the prices rise for the bracket cost
