Upkeep

Post by Meteor2 »

In my current game the upkeep which I am allocating gives me not enough info.
When I allocate 100, the upkeep is 98 (maybe), when I allocate 300, it is 298 (maybe), etc...
Would it not be better to see in the overview, what is needed for 100% replacements and for 100% upgrading?
Then I would have an better insight about the criticality of my supply situation.

At the moment, I am spending 480 into upkeep and I have not the feeling, that it is sufficient.
I would like to see numbers and not feelings here. [;)]

It would be good to have such indication indeed. But, the problem is that the number will never be correct because it depends on the losses calculated from the previous turn not the current turn that you are about to play.

Better than 'what is needed for upgrading etc' which isn't really doable for the reason ncc gave + the uncertainty of a tech upgrede, would be'how much was spent at the start of my turn'. At the moment. I haven't got the foggiest...........

Also, unless I am mistaken, any points allocated to replacement and upgrade, but not actually spent then go to the stockpile and are available for production.

It might be nice to see some number saying that this allocation is enough to satisfy X% of your current need, but I do not see this as critical.
