Just come across this, I loved 'Empire' will I like this?

Hi all.

Only just come across this game by accident (Steam link).

I loved old(very old) games like 'Empire'...is this similar game? Just watched the video and it sounds like a lot of faffing regards mechanics round supply? Empire was more about the war itself?

Interested in this but wanting some more info before I jump in.

You can see all the game play.

Logistics is a big part of the game (as it is in ALL warfare) but you can "ignore it" by constructing lots of supply and logistics buildings.

Readers be forewarned -- it's not brief! But it is certainly comprehensive and clearly based on a thorough knowledge of the game.

This is a good moment for 4X games, it seems. Old World is likewise an excellent game. Therefor it's more than a little ironic that Firaxis chose now to release a new dlc for Civ VI without actually improving the gameplay much.

Hope this isn't OT -- this certainly looks like one to buy.
