Connection Error with PBEM Strategic Command

just purchased strategic command WW2 and trying to play PBEM, always gives me connection error? Any ideas?

yes, running latest version, update works and tells me I am, still won't connect for PBEM

Perhaps your Anti-Virus or Firewall software is getting in the way of the necessary communication between the game and the PBEM++ server?

One option would be to try and whitelist the game with your AV or Firewall to see if that helps?
