Use Oil, Can't Continue

Doesn't appear that I can continue because the "Expend Oil Point" button remains grayed out.

As far as I can tell this is definitely a game stopped unless: (1) you're willing to reorg only 1.45 vs all or (2) you have the ability to figure out how to make things right which includes editing of the game file.

So in my humble opinion, and unless I'm missing something very obvious, I'd classify this bug as a game stopper. [:(]

That is a fatal bug. The problem is not that you can't end the phase. That is correct. The problem is that the expend oil point button is grayed out. One has to expend that oil before the phase can end, and for some reason MWiF isn't letting you do that.

Try selecting one of your units.
The expend oil button should become selectable then.

I downloaded the file and tried it and this didn't work

Leaving 1 CA disorganised and using only 1.45 oil I could advance. Until I used German oil to reorg Italian units and again couldn't expend the remaining oil

The best workaround to this bug that I've found until we get a fix is to use version 3.1.0.3 for the "Use Oil phase".

Strangely enough, it appears that if you press the little "x" on the expend oil points form, the game will proceed (well, it does with our beta test version when I got the same problem).

Good to know. Means I don't have to keep switching versions at the use oil phase. Thanks!

We found this bug rather quickly. It happens when there is only 1 unit to reorganize, and/or only 1 source of oil.

I had added a line of code thinking to avoid a problem, but created this one instead.

The correction to the code has already been made, but since there is such a simple work-around (click on the X in the upper right hand corner of the Use Oil form), I haven't rushed posting a new Hot Patch.
