Allow to see the battle results from History and from past battles in the current turn

Post by Jdane »

This suggestion was made in the general discussions forum and had some success, so I'm putting it out here.

The idea being, if it is feasible, to allow the player to view the battles reported in History view developing as if they had initiated it, and to view again the battles they initiated during their turn, after the deed is done, should they feel the need to check them again.

The benefit being it can only help them have a better understanding of the game mechanics, figure out the reasons of the outcome of a battle in History, and adjust they game plan accordingly.

If it is difficult, a compromise could be to display only the end results (preferably in all three forms: graphical, text, and detailed - or at the very least text). (And graphical if can be, it's quite good to get at least some data on hits and kills if detailed is not an option.)

The text would be the easiest.

But if you get detailed, you basically have the Script needed to perfectly replicate the Graphical part. I am willing to bet that the actuall combat happens on the Detail level, the other two are just interpretation of those values.
