Change the stance of a OHQ if you don't want to use another stance? In otherwords can you turn OFF a stance you assigned with out changing it?

Yes, click the button in the lower right of the screen for administering the unit. I can't remember the exact name. But with the OHQ selected it takes you the screen where you can upgrade/scrap units in the OHQ. Then I believe you should see a button for removing the current stance. Sorry I'm not more specific. I'm away from the game at the moment.

Yes though it's a little fiddly. Took me a while to find it, even when I knew it was possible, yet alone finding it if you do not.

Select the OOH unit on the map, hit unit admin and you should see an option to cancel the posture. Obviously, postures are applied HQ-wide so that cancels it for every unit. Posture cards are one use only. Cards do not return if you cancel them. Again probably obvious but covering all bases.

Remember to look at the combat modifiers before initiating combat, you will quickly see if there is some bullshit happening that you need to fix :D, Don't be afraid of using your formation strats though, they are really good and the AI uses them as well.
