Vietnam Campaign game

Post by John B. »

Hello all,

I have a hankering to do a Vietnam Campaign and I see that there are two in TOAW IV. Boonie Rate and CSV. Any advice as to which is the better scenario?

I can only speak for CSV,
I had started a game in that, and we got to ....
maybe turn 50? But then, my opp. had to bug,
I was NV and had a very hard time of it.

But, it is a very good scene, I think,
leans more toward the strategic...very subtle events and such,

i would add, if you have a real hankerin', check
out Boonie's Viet Nam Combat Operations,
a/k/a "VCO"

I've been planning to give those a throw,
have only been able to get about half way through volume I,

they are amazing scenes for against PO
and documentation on them are just a joy a to read.
They really shine.

I think :)

Thanks! A friend and I would like to try to CSV but I can't find the campaign guide. I even wrote to Chambers and asked for a copy and he told me to find it in the scenario documentation. I can't find it and I think I've looked everywhere. Any chance you have a copy you could send to me?
