Forces' Sweetheart Dame Vera Lynn dies aged 103

Singer Dame Vera Lynn has died at the age of 103, her family have said.

Known as the the Forces' Sweetheart, she famously sang 'We'll Meet Again', traveling around the world visiting the front line to perform for WWII troops and boost morale.

Incredible age. I heard the news at the exact same moment i was downloading 1969 Battle of Britain movie! she was still offering insiration during the COVID lockdown. Legend. RIP Vera...until we meet again.
