My CVE dont launch corsairs

I changed the dauntless and avengers and set in my three CVEs
3 or 4 squadrons of corsairs....Well when japanese attack my air combat task force anybody defends me ...
What is wrong?

Historically the F4U was thought to be "too hot" for Carrier based use in 1943 and was used only as a landbased fighter with great success by the USMC and USN. IIRC it was only in '44 that the USMC perfected the use of the F4U on carriers .

It might be for this reason that the the game will not launch F4U's from your CVE's.

I also remember one source mentioning that some F4F squadrons were kept active after the F6F came into general use for specific use on CVE's. At the time of the introduction of the F6F they were though to be to large for use on CVE's and Jeep Carriers.

Which F4U ? (a 1 or a 4?)

How many? (Carriers can not launch aircraft if over 110% capacity)
