Upgrading Units

I am trying to upgrade infantry I select the option slide the bar to say upgrade 300 click on the guard II but the upgrade button is always grey, what I am doing wrong or?

Perhaps you don't have any Transport points. Are you sure your in the right screen? Click on the infantry in the unit window and select upgrade or replace Mass if you want the whole Brigade to upgrade to that type. That will take you to a window that allows you to select what you are changing too and you click on that and then use the slider bar.

It is easy to end up in the wrong UI in this game, as so many look similar. The steps:
- You have a unit with the old models in the Unit Bottom Tab
- Click on that old model
- You get a variant of the design Overwview, with some extra information.
- Hit mass upgrade
- Select the Scope of the mass replacement (only unit, all under same OHQ, all under same SHQ)
- Select the target model
- put the slider so you do not exceed actually existing material and IP storage
- Hit "Mass Uprade" and hope you got strong enough Logistics to that many subunits. If not, rinse and repeat after moving closer/next turn
