USA gearing zero

Post by davidc »

Version 3.1.0.6
Somehow USA gearing is at zero
All other powers have correct gearing
Previous turn was JF41 so USA built all 5 CVL + 3 CV as well as 2 CVP1, Arm HQ, Ftr2 and a pilot

Two saves in zip file
Start of production for Germany and the other at USA production

Did you manually edit the GAM file?

To fix it yes, but not before I don't think.
The saves I attached may not be the original games saves as I went through a lot of saves trying to figure out what was happening and where.

Since this is a problem I have never encountered or seen reported before, and since the gearing data only gets modified during the Production phase (unless there is a DOW on a major power). I am going to assume something happened to the GAM file.

Now if you can give me a saved game that looks good, and instruction on how playing the game (after loading that saved game) causes it to go bad, then I will definitely work on fixing this. But until then, ...[8|]
