Running on high resolution monitor

Post by JamesHansen »

Evening -

I just splurged on an ultrawide monitor and am trying to run the game windowed as there are no resolution options in the configuration that I could find. Adding a -window or -w switch on the shortcut target has not helped. ALt-tabbing out also did not work. Anyone have any ideas that might help?

Thanks

Hi Jim,
Was busy there so just seeing this now. At the moment, there's no resolution options- the game always plays at your local resolution.
Waht exactly is the problem? Text too small? My screen here is only 1920x1080.
Cheers,
Brian

Thanks for the reply Brian -

It renders, but is is full screen which spreads out the game interface from the map section pretty far. Things also look a bit fuzzy at the native 5120 x 1440. The resolution nice for work and some other games. If there is ever a windowed mode that would work well for me. For now I'll just run it on my laptop which has a normal 4:3 display.

Cheers

Hi, sorry for the delay. I'm overworked in the day job (I only do this in my spare time)!
Okay, I understand, it works but the window is just too big. I'll have a think!
Thanks,
Brian
