[1.04beta3]Apocalypse figtures still a bit wierd

Post by zgrssd »

The figures are better, but there is still something off:
Colonisation 6684.2 Million
Reformist and Loyalist clashes: 3482 million Soldiers and Civilians
Post Government Collapse: 6684 Million
Remaining: 2.174 Million

So we had 10166 Million casualties with 6684.2 million people. 152% of the Population.
They would have needed to do one heck of a mass cloning project to even out those numbers.

I am beginning to think you got a math or communication error:
- Something like "Post Government Collapse is based on Colonisation Figures, instead of Colonisation - Initial War".
- Or that the post-government collapse figure is Pre-Collapse losses + Post collapse losses.
That 2nd one would mean, that it was actually "only" ~3202 Million extra losses after the Governmetn Collapse.

Dont forget maybe 200 years have passed. So casualties are spread over multiple generations.

Dont forget maybe 200 years have passed. So casualties are spread over multiple generations.
Most people that die, have issues getting more children that can have children and die later.
If someone dies during this phase, chances are very low someone else will have more (surviving) children to compensate or that their children survive to be population later.

A bit more can happen, but +52% of the Colonisation population? When the first phase already cut the colonisation population in half?
Pretty hard to get 6684 Million Casualties out of 3202 Population, even over 200 years.[;)]

As I said before, that would require someone going in and murdering just the adults and elders of a entire generation. That is the only way to "have your casualties, and still keep a population for future casualties".
While I would totally expect the Shadow Cult to do stuff like that, it still seems wierd.
