Tiller Modern Air Power War over Middle East opinions ?

Post by jack54 »

Hi again I thinking about taking advantage of the John Tiller sale just wondering what people though about The modern air power series.
I’ve been playing and enjoying the demo which is really a set of tutorials set mostly in Korea.

I’m leaning towards ME over Vietnam thinking more A2A engagements

Still not cheap at $29.95 but 30 scenarios isn’t bad. Some are reportedly large.

Iirc Vietnam is USD 29,95 as default
Was looking at that title as well, so curious what the response will be.

I've got his Japan game but I'm having so much trouble liking the UI. Do you ever get used to the old UI?

Update: Guess I will find out, I bought War Over Mideast. Hey, it's a holiday! [8D]

Update: NO tooltips, the help option in every dialog box opens no help, no tutorial info. My fault though, I should have tried the demo.

Larry the center column menu leads to the menu to the right took me a while to find it hopefully it works for the main game the same way. (Lots of info there with weapons data, game manual and a getting started pdf example.)

Yeah, I figured it out finally. I also wrote JT's support and within a few minutes on the 4th of July even, they got back to me. He said I needed Adobe PDF reader, so I downloaded it and now all help works. I also installed their Modern Air Tutorials AND the JT Game Menu which I knew nothing about. I'm all set now with more than I wanted to read. [:)]

Thanks for your help, all and any is much appreciated.

This tutorial program is a must for anyone not familiar with this series: JT Modern Air Tutorials

Larry, do you know where I may find the tutorial program? The link in your post above no longer works.

After John Tiller's death a new company was created and acquired the games, Wargameds.

This is the corresponding link in the new site.

https://wargameds.com/collections/moder ... power-demo

Or simpler, the old site preserved in Archive.org, the setup file is downloadable.
