Playtest Application (a dumb question)

Post by Reknoy »

Pardon my ignorance regarding the process:

I applied right away but have yet to receive any confirmation. Will there be any? It would be nice to know that it was received (otherwise I would send another).

To anyone reading this -- feel free to add your own dumb or otherwise uninformed questions. Perhaps even some answers! :)

I'm not even sure I sent my application. (Darn hotmail!) but I didn't want to be a pain in the rear end and send another one... :)

Seems like this belongs in the AOW forum, and not here.

Fighting Evil

Post by EricLarsen »

You're probably correct that this should belong in the AOW forum but I was just answering his signature which really belongs there too. Just doing my job fignthing evil where evil is.

But it's nice to see EiA close to testing as it means it's a major step closer to completion.

*sigh*

Like the plight of the revolutionary who finds himself surrounded by people who joined him just to party, I find myself no more enlightened about the application process today than when I originally made the post.

Unless it's prohibited for some reason, can anyone confirm receipt of any notice? Just curious really (and extremely anxious!!!). :)

Applications are free. Enlightenment will cost you an additional $99.99. If you order now, we will throw in peace of mind, for only an additonal $29.99! A $400 value for only $129.98!!

On a actual, related note, I have not received anything from Matrixgames yet.

Have Patience

Post by EricLarsen »

Geez, this truly is the Age of Instant Gratification! Some of you have barely sent in your testing ap and are already whining that they're not attending to you fast enough. Give the testing choosers a chance to gather aps and actually have some time to process them. I'm sure that when they've made their choices they'll let the lucky dogs know they've made the cut while doing a blanket post to inform those of us who applied that if we haven't heard from them yet that thanks for the interest but others are doing the testing. I've been waiting for several years for this moment after Talonsoft absued a legal shenanigan to screw Matrix out of Frank Hunter's design.

Give your impatience a rest and just be patient!

Speaking of chilling out...

You may note (if you read my post) that I was asking about any feedback (like, I don't know, an auto-reply so I know I sent it properly).

Better that than waiting to find out nobody ever received it.
