What is in the 1.073 update? Does it have anything from the beta 0842? Do I need to re-update with the beta 0842 after using the Matrix updater from the game itself?

Looks like it also replaces to Scenarios - so assume we should replace those as well?

It shouldn't. It was just a game update not a scenario update. Unless the Matrix version always replaces everything.
