Free Folk requesting help holding their town

Post by Beorn »

Seems to me that there is a logical problem with how this is set up.

Once you agree to help, they have zero food and obtain no food, until you provide supply. Nor ammo. This really makes no sense. They are in their own town. How have they lived, up until now?

Maybe if the event were re-written to specify that they have run out or low on supplies? Anyway, in my opinion, it is kind of jarring. (Especially in contrast to Free Folk opponents who always have supplies.)

How have they lived, up until now?

Obviously the Raiders took all their food.

Have you never watched "The Magnificent Seven"?

I prefer the original Kurosawa version. [8D]

Yeah, those remote hold missions are always tough. Best to get your fastest unit (and an infantry unit, just in case of mountains) to connect your borders as quickly as possible, and to get the adventurer unit to connect to you as well from the other end. With luck, you'll get a supply line in and be able to hold the town. As long as it's inside your borders, you'll be okay.
