Re-Hi's!

SPWaW is a tactical squad-level World War II game on single platoon or up to an entire battalion through Europe and the Pacific (1939 to 1945).

Well it seems I am back again after a long absence. Nice to meet you all (-again , although I must say I see a lot of new names).

Amazing how this game changed after 5.x yet still remains so familar to operate. Anyways, I am trying my hands on a Japanese campaign and I am trying to figure out what SNLF troops are. They appear to be elite troops, my guess is they are the Japanese version of marines?

Thanks :)

"registered: feb 2001"

Guess you have LOTS of things to catch up to!
For one thing, I hope you notice that the SP:WAW community and these forums has grown tremendously since then... :) heh... I started lurking by the time you registered.

Either way - welcome back, Rhodan. :D

And now, download the H2H mod

Actually I did download the H2H mod, wanted to switch back to the original, did some dumb uninstalling thing and spent the next three-four weeks or so trying to d/l SPWaW again, thinking no link worked until I found out that in XP if you check off the wrong thing a ZIP file will be auto downloaded without a requester popping up asking where you want to place teh file.

in other words, I spent nearly a month thinking I could not d/l the file while I actually was and constantly stopping it because I was fed up with frustration . Green..me?..naaah?

Rhodan - Always, I mean ALWAYS right click when getting set up to download. That will allow you to specify the folder / directory.

If you have that much junk in yout Temporary Internet Files folder, it is most likely time to clean it out. If you don't want to do this manually, set automatic cleanup for the lowest practical amount of HD space.
