At the start of the turn, I put the A6M2 loaded on Shokaku at Tokyo in the reserve pool. Latter during the turn, I would like to rebase the B5N2 at land at Tokyo to Shokaku but I is not possible: it seems that the A6M2 is somehow still on the map (but also in the reserve pool) even if I cannot move it. It prevents to rebase another CVP on Shokaku.

Could you help me to fix this issue?

I decided to move forward and moved Shokaku (with its fake A6M2) to China Sea. Now, if I try to rebase the fake plane anywhere (for instance, to a Japan hex), it is duplicated: see attachment.

I ran into a similar problem the other day. I think it occurs when there are two carrier air units on a carrier and one of them is removed to the Reserve Pool. The program gets confused because it has two slots defined on each carrier for carrier air units. I haven;t been able to recreate the situation before the problem occurs; that is, before the carrier air unit is moved to the Reserve Pool.

Do you have any saved games from before then? During the reinforcements phase would be easiest for me to work with.

Fixing this problem in a saved game file is very difficult. It took me a dozen tries and it was still "slightly off". What I have to do is write special code specifically for the saved game and the carrier air unit & carrier.

Thank you for the explanation. Unfortunately, I have no save game before then because I didn't notice the issue at that time. Sorry.

We are facing a problem in our game where a D3A1 in Fukuoka (the one with 0 a2a value) is bugged. It can't be removed from map to send to reserve pool or anything else.

Any suggestions on how we can proceed with the game? We thought of crediting JP with 3 BP but the JP player would like to keep the plane itself so this isn't entirely satisfactory, not to mention that it will take time to spend the 3 BP to get another PIL + cvp.....

Also JP player thinks he never removed any plane to send it to reserves.
