Could not find DAT file

Post by Erse »

Hello, my friend is getting the message that he is missing the DAT file number one-eight-one-one-zero-six when he tries to download our game, can you help? (I had to write the numbers out since the system would otherwise think I'm posting a phone number)

thanks

follow up question: Can I just take the relevant DAT file from my own game, copy it and send it to him? I looked at the other post in this forum where another user was missing a Dat file.

Hi Erse

Hubert will be offline for most of this week and I'm not sure of the answer on this one.

It might be worth trying your own DAT file, or alternatively you could raise a ticket with Matrix support, and they can be found here:

Please advise whether you do get this resolved or not.

Thanks for the answer

I can report that it worked! I copied my own DAT file and sent it to him. He pasted it into the relevant folder and says the game works fine again.
