Honour roll missing

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Honour roll missing

Post by Mappo »

Hi, waiting for the new patch I am still playing a LC as Axis with the 1.4 version, so I don't know if this issue was resolved. I am on turn 260 5/3/1944 when by pure chance I have discovered that the honour rolls of my squadrons are missing their killed pilots. For example the Stab/JG 1 suffered the loss of six pilots killed, but when I open the Honour roll I see the names of only 3 killed pilots, I still have the previous turn file, and, opened it, I have found for the same unit the names of 5 killed pilots, then I did a few more random checks on honour rolls of other squadrons and found similar things. A dozen turns ago, at the end of a turn I read a message saying that 50,000 pilots had been used, maybe this is connected and the program is resurrecting dead pilots to fill in losses, deleting them from the fallen pilots lists?
Best regards

I believe that the "generic" pilots do indeed get recycled, but the historical pilots do not.
