Pointblank Air war as Axis

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

I've never played as the Axis player, so I'm certainly no expert on this. But from a quick look at turns 1 & 2 of the scenario, it appears that there are no default air directives for turn 1 for the Axis, so there's no worry about bombing, recon, or other AD's happening unless you as the human Axis player set them up.

You have 2 Tactical bomber units, 11 Recon units, and 2 Patrol units. Just move them to some airfield in the east to get them out of the way.

Thanks Cary, seems like a reasonable suggestion. I'll give it crack and try feedback.
