sidebar on second monitor?

Post by Phoenix100 »

I'm playing with 2 monitors, map on 1, all the windows on 2. Can anyone help, please, with whether there's any way to get the sidebar onto the second monitor, to just leave the first monitor with the map? Thanks.

Not sure you can undock it so to speak, from the main window, at present.

I don't think you can. You can collapse it to the right and hide it but I don't think you can undock it.

I run with three monitors, and to open up the map area, I drag the window to overlap slightly on a second screen. It leaves me with a full monitor for the map, a monitor for the platform display, and the third for the sidebar, throttle/altitude window, and the message log.

I did start to see some crashes and logged a case with the Dev's, at the time I was zooming in tight and then back out to "regional" and back in tight several times with map settings turned up. Since I dropped the map settings back to less detail, the crashes stopped.

If you try my method, you could validate the problem was my map settings or that CMO doesn't like to be across two screens at once.
