- You woulndn't believe, WW2 starts
10.1939 - Both Poland and Luxembourg surrender
12.1939 - Belgium attacked and taken
02.1940 - Germans push further into France, spreading panic. UK troops have to hold the line themselves. In China, Changsha falls. And somewhat fast, Italy joins the war
03.1940 - Weather hampers Axis forces in France. Some action is beginning to happen in IEA and Libya
05.1940 - France on the brink, Mr. Churchill orders evacuation. Tobruk in Allied hands, Italy on defense in IEA
06.1940 - France surrenders, Lend-lease to UK begins
07.1940 - Japan attacks India! Empty Karachi is taken, some SE Asia countries join the Allies, DEI cuts convoys to Japan. Will the spoils of war will be worth it?
11.1940 - very slow pace of events. Germany attacks and takes Tunisia, not a lot is goiong on elsewhere
12.1940 Chengchow falls, and year comes to an end

Timeline for 1941:

01.1941 Chengchow falls in China, Addis Adeba in IEA.
03.1941 Yugoslavia joins the Allies. Germany sends reinforcement to NA via Tunisia.

Long time of phony war, only minor skirmishes. GER attack on USSR was delayed, because lack of IW2.

07.1941 Tripoli falls to UK troops.
08.1941 Germany declares war on USSR. Most of Lithuania is taken, Odessa is taken and most of spawned units on western border are destroyed.
09.1941 Riga is cleared of defenders, Minsk falls, AGS closes to Dnieper line.
10.1941 Kiev falls. AGN stops, AGC arrives nest to Smolensk. Weather is getting worse.
11.1941 Japan attacks, destroys 2 ships at PH, takes Phillipines. But what is more, 2 long range transports attack Capetown and RSA falls to Japan. What is interesting, RPA soldiers fighting in IEA keep on doing that, depsite their nation out of the war.
In Russia Kherson is under some pressure, but nothing scary.
12.1941 THings are happening. Both Netherlands and Spain are attacked by Germany and taken in one turn. Yes, Franco lasted one turn.
Heavy battles in Russia, but no location changes hands.

So 1941 comes to an end. Many countries have fallen, that's bad. At the same time, there is so much more to defend now...

04.1941 Japan intervenes in Suez Canal. Mind you, still not at war with UK, but at the same time hampering their fleet movement. Personally, I dislike this feature of SC: WaW.

07.1941 UK takes Tripoli, but German reinforcements in Tunisia will soon cause a lot of headache. Spoiler - I overexposed my troops 2 times in a row and was punished swiftly. Note there is German Strategic bomber in Italy, bombing Tripoli's port and city itself each turn.

10.1941 Smolensk defense may prove inadequate, unless the Weather intervenes.

There really need to be some scripts which punish this kind of thing, with either lost war readiness or losses of national morale or some other deterrent.

It would be nice indeed.

I don't have a big issue with Japanese scouting Indian Ocean and even Suez. But due to how engine works, these 'neutral' ships seriously hamper UK fleet movement, much to German joy. You may of course amass fleet and DOW them, but at the same time you will leave arctic convoys open to raid for some time. And JAP ships are not that easy to sink either.

Timeline for 1942:
01.1942 Portugal falls to Axis invaders, Tarawa is taken by US Marines.
02.1942 Masawa falls to Allied troops. USSR paratroopers take empty Hanku, move bold and stupid at the same time.

Things got calm, except border skirmishes, up to May, when weather in Russia cleared enough to renew offensive operations.

05.1942 Modest counteraction from USSR against forces south to Pskov, without much luck. In the south, Germany crosses the Dnieper south of Kiev and establishes a beachhead with an army.
06.1942 A lot of stuff happened, especially in Russia. In South, axis penetrated deeper, elite lvl 3 panzer leading the way. Tunisia was bombed to ground by UK and US bombers and UK proceeded with attack on Mareth line.
But a big thing happened next to Gomel, where von Manstein decided to spend his holidays. And only one weak corps was screening it. Result was bad for germany - corps was swept away and USSR tanks took Gomel (and von Manstein became a POW). That was a double disaster, because Germany had some units south of Gomel, now without supply.

With AGC in jeopardy, and irrevocable blow to Axis summer offensive they sued for peace and game has ended. More screens to follow.
