Plot Courses: how do I split them?

Gents,

Here's the situation:




I know that I can "Plot Course" by selected the allocated missile line. However, all missiles in that line are treated as one. I cannot split the 3 missiles onto 3 different courses.

A workaround could be to allocate 1 missile, plot the course, un-pause the game, fire the missile, and then do that for the next 2 missiles.

Am I missing something obvious?

Let the first one fire, hit pause allocate the 2nd? then the 3rd one?

Of course, timing is important.

"Plot Course": it doesn't show waypoints. It ADDS a point each time you click with the crosshairs, but you cannot modify it if you screw up. Gotta delete the entire course and try again.

"Plot Course": with multiple courses (that cannot be done AIUI), it would be useful to see leg length and total length for each leg plotted. I'll gin up a quick example and show what I mean.
