Raiding Norway convoy lines as Entente

Post by jjdenver »

Hi,

Will Norwegians swing toward CP if the Entente raid the convoys?

Also, an unrelated question: I thought that I read in an AAR something about Belgians continuing to fight on if one of their units is outside of Belgium when it's conquered. Is there some trick to how you place the Belgians? I didn't see any mention of this in the strategy guide in the game. Can someone explain how the Belgians should be used?

Thanks

Yes, same for sweden if you raid them (with russians), but it will be sporadic and small, so on its own probably won't bring them to the cp, but will hurt the entente diplomatic actions, if you try to persuade them to stop supplying the cp, and help the cp if theyy want them as active participants.

Not much trick, if you think they fall, you just evacuate the units to keep them, also don't forget, you can reinforce them, but not replace them, so keep them from the worst part of the fronts. Also many other countries units will stay, like the serbians, netherlands and a few other, same is true if they fight for the cp side, where even a naval evacuate is in the cards for the belgian units, to avoid losing them and the morale they represent.

Even if Belgium gets overrun, surviving Belgian units won't surrender. Belgian units can be placed under British command, though the Belgian HQ can't command British units. If the Belgian HQ does somehow manage to escape, it still can be useful for supply chaining. I've seen it shipped off to theaters like Mesopotamia or Egypt, to help the poor supply situation for example, as British HQ's come at a premium and allied HQ's can support each other with this method.
