African Flags and People

I've noticed in the ATG graphics sub-directory on my computer that there are folders for African flags. I've also noticed there is an "African" option (No.7) in the "Ppl" selections for the scenario editor. And yet the scenario generator never creates an African power. Is this the vestige of some design idea that didn't pan out? Personally I'd like to see about a dozen new ethnic "peoples," but that's probably too much to ask for in a game this old.

The way NewDawn is set up, they aren't actually used. They are kind of an "extra" regime, and I am not sure if there is a way that they get triggered in a set up. Near as I can tell, no. I did activate them in my FourSeasons Southern Hemisphere mod (along with the GeneralsProject). The Southern Hemisphere mod uses several non standard peoples. The active ones are: African, Anglo, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Southeast Asian, and Arab (had to get the full set of peoples somehow).
