The Ballad of PBEM

Post by Jim1954 »

If you play this game

by email, with friends.

The life you once had

will come to an end.

Playing all night

you get red-eyed and tired.

Stumbling around work

you hope you're not fired.

Yo Man, get a life

your non-gamer friends say.

I live for this stuff,

Is it tomorrow or today?

Oh no!! Catastrophe!!!!!

the gamer could cry.

Winning all of the battles,

and my hard drive just died.......

Actually some of those verses were inspired by my current opponent. lol. and some were just from forum comments, although they do seem to fit.

Jim, should I be honored or embarrassed?
