User Content button

Post by ineffable »

Maybe I missed spotting this until now. In v.1.1.8 when you open the UI Language dialog on the upper right of the main screen, select a language, then click OK, two things happen - 1) all text in the Mods dialog disappears; 2) A User Content button appears.

The User Content button opens the screen shown below. Is this User Content package/download feature active? Or has it been lurking ever since the v.1.1.0 Modding Build?

It's a bug where the content button isn't being hidden again after the change in language. It usually should only show if there are any mods on the official server.

User Language doesnt even need to be changed. Can be kept the same as long as the OK button is clicked.

Any plans to implement User Content downloads on the official server? The Package button seems to function in that it compresses and creates a .CPF file from one of my own mods in the MyGames/CCTBF/Mods directory. Assume this is the file that would be downloaded from the server.

The approach we take is to have users submit mods to us once they have been tested and we will upload them to the server. So most of the mods on our official lists are made by players.
