Cannot play this game - Requires newer patch

Hi there,

My computer tells me that " Cannot play this game - Requires newer patch". The problem is that my opponent has just told me that he has not may any upgrades... So why do we now have problem in the game?

good point. I received same and had also not upped to new beta. Not sure of my opponent though.

once you load the patch, you can get in. I just did.

If you get this message then your opponent is on a higher patchlevel than you. If the opponent plays via Steam he may not have noticed an update due to auto-install

Hey man, i'm having the same problem. Running the beta v. 1.12.06. I don't see a later patch anywhere and have the game set for high priority update on Steam. As far as i can tell it's up to date and yet that particular game is still locked, any ideas gratefully received.
