base demolition feature

Post by Drex »

In Pacwar there was the ability to destroy a base upon the approach of the enemy. there have been a number of occasions where I wish UV had this feature. Perhaps WitP will. A size one base could be destroyed in a day, the greater the size the longer it would take.

I can't remember the procedure since its been awhile since I played pacWar( don't have it on my computer anymore) but I remember you could- over time- degrade a base's facilities until they were destroyed.

Sounds more like a feature from 'WW2 Battles of the South Pacific' ... anyway, would be useful in UV, too.

I played WW2-Battles of the So.Pacific(very enjoyable too) but remember base demo as part of it, but no matter, it was a feature of some game and it should be used again.
