LOTS of changes in this comprehensive public beta since v1.23.00 Beta was released back in September 2019:
There were so many growing pains related to the many changes made for loaned units, minor units, kingdom units, etc. I want to publicly thank (again) MapleLeaf and his intrepid pbem groups for enduring so many fits and restarts. I think we have resolved most all gameplay issues, but there are still a couple lingering out there.
Please make a clean install and try this update. The plan is to let this run until after the new year, while I continue to make some more AI improvements and resolve any reported issues. After that we will post an official v1.23.08 patch. And some good news to add here. After the patch, Matrix will remaster the initial installer and make that available in your registered games. Then players can download that and make a single clean install direct to v1.23.08, without rebooting and applying a patch. I know that has been an issue with many players over the years, so we'll get that fixed. Enjoy!

FYI. There are a couple of reported bugs with prompted skips not working in PBEM and some besieging units moved out of siege prior to combat. I have the skips working and I am trying to track down the siege issue. I will post a hotfix when I can and roll these hotfixes into v1.23.08 for the release version.
UPDATE 12/15/20. I think I have resolved the siege issue. Once I get some playtesting feedback, I'll post a hotfix.
