It's tricky with AAR because ideally you want to describe the thought process in terms of options without revealing your hand. I've been thinking about building a site that allows user to upload text and images of the events to act as a diary and then at a later date to publish once the information is no longer sensitive.

That said, I can tell you that....

~ move 1 the axis moved Tanks west away from Warsaw
~ Warsaw held out
~ Italians went sailing through the straits of gibraltar
~ move 2 axis attacked and captured fortified town of Metz (just) using tanks and airforce
~ Warsaw held out
~ 2 RN capital ships blundered into U-boats and were lost
~ Move 3 axis drove south encircling the entire maginot line
~ Warsaw held out and took danzig
~ Italian transports and navy went south towards the cape scouting for kreigsmarine. Oredr went out 'enough is enough' - France declared war on italy - USA and spain reacted negatively - Sunk 2 Italian Armies and 1 corps

What was the mobilization hit for US?
I am considering sinking those neutral ITA scouts, but I never bothered to check how high the penalty is.

I can't be certain what it was before hand but I think 22-37%, probably towards the lower end of that range. Afterwards it was 16% so I think the hit was worth it.

I probably did 700mpps of damage and more importantly gave him something to think about

~ warsaw fell..so expect rest of wehrmacht to switch west now
~ no real gains on western front (thankfully there was partial rain cover)
~ ITA tanks push over the mountains towards Lyon
~ combined Kreigsmarine / ITA navy sink the Cumberland and damage Marseilise Light Cruiser in South Atlantic
~ Japanese Infrantry with strong support from Carrier-borne bombers are swarming over the Chinese


...looks like USA income dropped by 20mpps..so definitely worth the hit so far

~ Axis head north into Belgium from thrir newly acquired French territory to outflank the hastily improvised Allied defensive line
~ having lost their transaports the Kreigsmarine / ITA navy steam north into the central atlantic like a horde from Mad Max - Marseilise Light Cruiser and a destroyer are lost
~ 2 UK units push towards Tobruk

March 1940

~ After their 1 turn conquest of Belgium, the Germans pivot west back into France knocking out Gamelin HQ around Amiens. A central thrust splits the Northern French line from the Southern British line. In the far south a thrust through the Massiv du Vercours leads to the Italian Tanks being surrounded and cut-off.
~ Allies lose another Crusier and Destroyer off the coast of North West Africa. An axis battleship steaming to join the fray from Italy is sunk off Gibraltar.

Late March 1940

~ Nanning has fallen. Chengchow is surrounded and looks doomed.
~ Paris falls after heavy air bombardment and the Northern and Central Panzer Divisions close their pincer.
~ France fights on with their 2% morale.
~ The Kreigsmarine / Italian navy are running low on supply in the Eastern Central Atlantic and probably heading for their new french ports

April 1940

~ Japanese hordes take Chengchow and push to the gates of Sian
~ France surrenders; Vichy is formed; 2 British Corps remain undefeated but surrender to Vicht govt - damn I forgot about that
~ Germans occupy Norway
~ One 3 strength wounded ITA corps pops up in Mogadishu - it must have managed to sail all the way round the Cape
~ 2 ITA Corps and 1 garrison attack Berbera; the Assam Corps disembark and immediately take up defence of the city

Which way will the Axis turn now..?
- Sealion invasion of England
- North Africa (maybe mopping up Vichy in the process)
- Balkans - Yugoslavia / Greece
- My money is on a 1940 Barbarossa

Dang soldier, lost 2 English Corps in VF creation, that sux. Paris went quick, what did your opponent do that shook the foundation that quick?
SeaLion, is tough to pull off, at least well prepped, & some key events have happened.
Greece is my least favorite, hate all the garrisons I must leave behind.
Didn't know 1940 Barby was allowed, unless not ELO game

When they took Metz on turn 2 it set-up an Ardennes-Sedan super-highway that couldn't be plugged.
I think I was a bit unlucky because I had re-inforced that Army from 5-8 and I think it fell on his last remaining strike.
Had to switch the BEF from Belgian front to defend Dijon and Paris
Once Warsaw fell (turn 5 overall) he could then switch remaining corps to vacant Belgian front.

Yeah, that early Momentum and *Key pop is what the rush of Blitzkrieg is all about. Then toss in some good weather. I typically lose Paris in July. More about he damage, taken and received. My worst, Cpuncher kicked my ass, took Paris in Feb. I was goofing around buying weird sh-t.

~ Japanese take Changsha and nearly break out of Wuhan towards Ichang
~ Franco overtly displays an interest in joining the Axis - Spain at 57%
~ U-boats low on Supply are attacked near the Azores with one sunk
~ Germany completes a one turn conquest of the Netherlands
~ Luftwaffe masses on the Channel coast and the opening Salvos are fired in the Battle of Britain
~ British forces surround the beleagured Italian 10th Army at Tobruk
~ Italians strengthen Mogadishu

~ Chinese pincer movement on Peking fails : I hate it when projected supply predicts a decent number (4?) on next turn so you move then at end of turn the boundaries re-assess and unit is cutoff !?!
~ Japanese close on Ichang
~ Luftwaffe destroy RAF 1 Fighter, 1 Tac Bomber and 1 Strat Bomber
~ German paratroops capture Manchester and Liverpool :scream ~ 1 LRAT and 3 TT deposit 2 panzer, HQ and corps into UK midlands - looking bleak now
~ UK loses carrier off Jutland
~ ITA army vacates Tobruk - UK and Commonwealth forces advance on Benghazi

How has he (Germany) managed to research Amp and long range air tech by June 40?

What level are his Panzers and Inf at?[X(]

No research advancement happend for Germany, all still on beginning level.
From Den Hague you can land with a level 0 paratooper (6 range + 1 move) in Manchester.
Only the marine bomber was needed to spot if the city is empty.
No amph. was involved, port was on level 5 or 6 after captured.
